Sky Lynx (Commander Modesty)

by Kirsten Irving

Brothers, if you’re lost in action, stop and consider: What would Sky Lynx do? The might of a sauropod facing a comet, the courage of ants in a flood! None of you need worry – I got it covered. Spark of a gas giant, gears of war. Bring it on and set free a blessed avalanche. Did I ever tell you about that time? Never mind. Crow-wise and croc-skinned, there’s your dream soldier. Stick with me and we’ll take back this terra, base by base and rock by scorched rock. You say this here is our last outpost? The last rock we fling out. Thank goodness. Thank goodness I’m here.

Brothers, if you’re lost in action, shot to slivers, what could Sky Lynx do? The mighty sauropods facing the comet, the porridge of ants in a flood. None of them knew worry – I got that covered. Spark of a crashed giant, years of war. Bring it on and let’s see the stress fractures branch. Did I ever tell you I lost my mind? Never time. Slow-eyed and pock-chinned, we’re your dream fodder. Pick me up when they’ve taken out my terror, replaced my face, plucked me some pluck. You say this here is our last outpost. The last rock to cling to. Thank goodness. Thank goodness I’m here.
